I know it's not mojito time, but it's the thread, and would someone please pass me *anything* alcoholic?

Welcome back KMF! El, congrats on the auction - sounds marvelous.

As for me, I'm considering driving to Santa Barbara tomorrow, and then to San Francisco for the Lennon opening (I need to escape LA), but only to SF if I can find an affordable place to stay. Otherwise, I am NOT sleeping my car, nor a hostel with many strangers (single, jewish, female, expensive camera equipment - not happening), so we'll see. I may hit up my cousin, I'm extraordinarily last minute!

Anyway, hope everyone is well!

That sounds like fun, Shira. Yeah, the days of sleeping in the car and/or hostel are long gone. I'd love to see Lennon; read some nice stuff on the other board.

Finally got out today, went shopping. Didn't find what I was looking for, which is what always happens when I'm looking for something. Did find a cute pair of pants for $10 at the Rack and awesome sneakers for $40. The had to go to the regular mall... but didn't find anything there either. Oh well...

Shopping can be great! Except I never find anything when I'm at home - but when I travel, suddenly "Hey, a great pair of shoes. In my size. 50% off".
