I will. Our plans are brunch in the morning. Then, my mother leaves in the afternoon for Omaha where she lives.
very nice - my Mother's in FL, and my Mother-in-Law is away for the weekend, so it's Mother's day with my wife and brother-in-law/sister-in-law - should be fun!
BTW - question on presents for you and for the room... I bought her a ticket to Wicked (ostensibly for Mother's Day)... but that was last month - does this mean I need to get another "official" Mother's Day present???

OTA - do you want too have sex this month?
If so, answer the question with the appropriate answer.
Happy weekend everyone! Just got home from All Shook Up with my little sister (she's 13), she absolutely LOVED the show and is ready to go back tomorrow.
I am trying to decide if I should work tomorrow morning, or just sleep in instead...

Goodnorning Hussys,
brdlwyr; I am in love with the Lexus. I amost bought it yesterday. But my ever thoughtful lover made me walk away and is making me thing about it for one week. I am also thinking I will go thru my credit union . I am a man obsessed.

DAME - Robert, who has been a fanatic of car design for over 40 years (I can't tell you how many car magazines and models I live with) considers the RX330 to be a perfect car - and it will be our next purchase.
Dgrant,
I chatted with my friend Drew who is a fleet manager at Jeep and he pretty much said the same thing. He also said that for a suv it does very well on gas. And that it is one of the few cars that mantains its value. I am getting this.

Dame, Sounds great. I will have to get a ride when I am in LA.
Carrying a chest of drawers up turning stairs with your blind father is kind of funny, but mission accomplished. My sister arrives with her family on Thursday and the trouble and strife has a list of chores for us.
On so many of the other threads, I feel so old compared to all the teenagers that post. But here you are, talking about buying fancy cars and moving furniture in houses you own with your families, and I feel so very young again :)
Just finished my last youth group event of the year for the K-2nd graders. That just leaves a couple trips to Six Flags and my year is done, hooray!
Liotte;
Are you a teacher? And yes; someone pm 'ed me saying they can not comprehend how someone would spend so much money on a car. Of course they are 18 and don't understand that when you are 41 and succesful.and spend 90 minutes in your car each day ( at least) . it is nice to treat yourself if you can.
Yes, I am a teacher (somewhat), I work at a synagogue in Manhattan, helping to run the school (about 1200 kids), running youth groups (K-2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9-12th grades), weekend retreats, teaching a family bar/bar mitzvah class, teaching 8th grade leadership class, stuff like that.
I understand about wanting a nice car though, it's just nice that since I live 3 blocks from work, I don't need a car in the city. And you definitely need a car in LA- it takes forever to get around there, even without traffic! (which is never)
My sister and her kids go to a synagogue on the upper west side. It is huge.

Dame - I thought of the same question to L. L - I knew you worked with kids.
So, Dame you are 41 - my wife's age.
More projects - new cushions for the deck chairs, etc.
Dame- Which synagogue? That's where I work. If she has kids there, I might know them

Would that not be funny if you knew Dame's neices and nephews.
My 21 year old niece is engaged
BRDWLYR,
Congragulations!
Liotte;
I will find out the name. It is also a school. And both my neice and nephew were barmitzvahed there. My neice the weekend right before September 11th. .... and all I can say is thank god I decided to add a extra day to my trip..
You do owe me that Mojito, DAME. It is a matter of public record on this board.
Howdy mojitians... busy weekend. Totally re-did my bedroom... loads and loads of garbage. The do has no idea what hit me.
Saucy Jack was good last night, but the drag show that followed was excellent. I do love a good drag show. Lots of appletinis.
