Good Morning all. My reliable ISP is down and I am on Dial Up. It is like being in the slowlane of trafffic.

Dame - did you see that you won American Idol???

L - what time does your flight arrive at O'Hare?

Hi Lwyr...

Poor you, trying to navigate in the slow lane... Is this another family archival photo?

Boobs - I take it back - I miss the Manny, Manny lines!

Flight leaves whenever I get to the airport- I'm going standby on an earlier flight, hopefully at 1. For all the work I am getting done today, I might as well have just stayed in bed.

OTA - this is the family sod house in western Nebraska from the late 1800's. We also have paintings of the picture. I do not get the Manny lines? I just had to ignore them while you all lauged.

I am very impressed with your midwestern roots, and the fact that they're documented all over the place...

I have more.

OTA - I rehearsed the Tantum Ergo last night - shoudl be nice, but I feel the effects of age and lack of recent training on the upper range.

brdlwyr,

Do you use a computerized genealogy program at all.

If you are looking for a good one, I highly recomment Personal Ancestral File (PAF) which is FREE from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You can download it from
www.familysearch.org On the green "bar" beneath the "tabs" is a Software/downloads link. Follow the links and you want the top program PAF 5.2.1.8 (Or something like that.) There are two download options (it works best with hi-speed)

I use it and train others on it all the time. It is very user-friendly.

Plus, all the upgrades are FREE, too.

If you needs specifics, just PM me.

y'know Addy - every time I read one of your threads, I just wish, wish, wish I'd never left Manhattan for the wilds of suburbia!

OTA - we have two more softball games and then t-ball starts soon, but it is very low key - Saturday mornings only.

I love living in the city. I am not tied to any commuter train schedule and can be home by car or cab in about 20-25 minutes.
