Thanks OTA - no real plans, but my wife made it clear that she has had enough of waiting on people, so I assume we are going out for dinner. T-Ball in the morning and an 8th grad graduation party tomorrow night (torture).
What are you Father's Day plans??
Funny, I got the distinct impression that going out for dinner is on the books tonight as well...
We actually have a break this weekend - we had planned to entertain on Saturday, but the other couple had to cancel, so we actually have a free day.
Sunday will either be spent by the pool or at the beach, depending on the weather... (oh, and I'm supposed to "sleep in" on Sunday so I can be "surprised"! - C5 told me this last night!)
Goodmorning Hussys,
I just upgraded my earthquake home owners insurance. I think the big one will happen in a matter of weeks.
OH MY GOD! This thread might hit the 10,000 mark today!

Does it get deleted at 10,000? I know I read some post about what happens with long threads. I will PM LuvtheEmcee - she will know.
How are you Dame?
OTA - that is funny. Sleep in - what does that mean 8:15???
Lawyer;
Is that you on your avatar?
better start preparing for the big 10,000 party - barrels of mojitos!
Dame - it's scary out there right now - did the last one come close to you?
And I don't think it gets deleated. there are some threads out there that are longer.

No, Dame, but I do look a little like Senator Durbin. But, I am much younger!!!!
I tried sleeping to 8:15 once... apparently it's against the law in New Jersey.
It's against the law when you have children... or dogs.
I think the thread just gets locked after a certain number, but not deleted.
G'd morning DAME. I don't know about Cali, but here you can't do anything to your earthquake insurance for like 60 days AFTER an earthquake strikes. With all the movement in Cali, Indian Ocean, Chile... makes me wonder if WE should be anticipating something...
Perpetual anticipation...

I've been beaten to a pulp by the director so I get this right:
Tonight is Gala PREVIEW; official opening is tomorrow at 3 pm. I keep on calling tonight opening, and he really got on my case last night. But, you know, VIP guests, hors d'ouvres...
Unfortunately, we'll prolly have a concert version of the show. Usually they perform rain or shine, but with the armor (rented) and swords (also rented) not allowed to get wet, if it rains a little heavy then there's no show. And it's gonna rain tonight. But just as well 'cause the set was 1/2 way done last night.

Thanks! The best part of it is that I get paid tonight and after tonight I'm done for the summer! Coming to think of it, I have no future theater plans... YIKES.

Well, neither do I other than seeing Little Shop in a few weeks. And, my wife skipped an audition on Tuesday!!!
Gotta find me a life soon...

Gazpacho and soft shell crab for lunch - not a bad way to end the week.
Can't decide if I want to join the office at a bad mexican restaurant so I can have a marg...

Yeah... I think marg trumps bad mexican...
I'm jealous, DD - you're going to have a *gasp* alcoholic beverage with lunch? LUCKY!
We're having auditions for Rumors and Falsettos here in a couple weeks... still debating if it's worth jumping back into the fray.
Jump! Jump!
If I could audition for CATS...

Jump yes. Of course, you would need to ask your wife for leave of Court.
