Thank for the weather report, L - I feel better now. By the way, you have the most engaging smile I have seen in the a long time. Your entire face lights up.
Aww, thanks bluemoon! You should thank my parents, my dentist, and my orthodontist for that. I definitely love people with big smiles, I think it shows that you enjoy life, having a good time, and like to laugh and spread happiness to others.
Bluemoon, I agree! Liotte's smile lights up the Park!
Good morning to all...and thanks for that yummy breakfast!
Count me in on those who think Liotte has a dazzling smile! (so said my kids as well!)
I think we sent the rain up north for you guys - sorry about that!
You guys are so sweet, thank you!
But not thanks for the rain OTA!
the East Coast is gonna get it all out of the way now, so we can have a glorious Fourth!
OTA, you can send all that rain down to us. We are in a nasty drought.

Good morning. GH - we are also in a nasty drought - Parts of my lawn are brown in June. Hot and Steamy here today.
Apparently C11 did not camp and did want to return today. It was ugly!!!!

Hello all!
Brdlwyr, sorry C11 is not loving camp. It can be an acquired taste for some. I was a GS Camp counselor through High School and College and not all the girls were enamored of it.
It's hot and muggy today...thank goodness for the people who invented A/C.

Hi BL - c9 and c5 weren't too thrilled with their first day of camp, but they're trying to be good little troupers...
Beacs, I had this wonderful conversation with a friend of mine the other night, and he said something like "that would be as unusual as a gay mormon" - he thought he could trip me up on an Angels in America reference... we started talking about Mr. Wilson, and I was able to give him all sorts of good stuff by going to all of your public service links!

OTA - C7 and C9 sat on the porch with their backpacks and water bottles perfectly happy to go to camp while C11 screamed in the background.
I loved going to camp, and worked a few summers as a counselor, also.
*sigh*
c11 is doing theatre camp this year, so we get absolutely no complaints from her!
oh, that's so much fun! My niece did that for a few summers. She loved it.

Only C7 would really be a candidate for theatre camp. C11 is too shy. I do not know about C9?
Addy - did you attend day camp or overnight camp?
they do six shows - they perform in one, and then do backstage stuff... she's doing "Once on this Island" onstage - our house is filled with the OCR all day and all night! (I'm secretly jealous!)

OTA - that sounds awesome. I told C11 taht growing up in a small town in Kanses - camp was a few sticks and a chicken!!!
I am openly jealous of them being able to go to theatre camp!
brdlwyr, I went to day camp, and was a counselor at both a day camp and a sleep-away camp. Those were the days...
True confession... I only went to one camp in my entire life... it was an "all-pro sports camp" - worst two weeks of my life (guess it was my Dad's attempt at something...) [would have rather gone to theatre camp!]

I never went to any camp. We had no camps in the middle of hick Kansas. I just played with my sitcks and pet chickens.
you had PET chickens? and you were in black and white then, right?

Yes, I first had a pet Marty who turned out to be a Martha when she bagan laying eggs. Then I had a few more bantums and some fine barred Plymouth Rock roosters, one which I took to the Kansas State Fair. I WAS A HICK.
Camp is not something you do in Costa Rica. I think we should have a grown-ups Theater Camp.
