There's always a party somewhere...

Oh, it happens. When the boys get distracted with oil, for example.

How's the hip? When I read your post apendicitis was the first thing I thought of. But someone had already posted that and didn't want to be redundant. My uncle's rule of thumb (he's an MD) is if your right hip/upper leg hurt when you walk, and you have a pain just under the right side of the abdomen, get yourself to the ER. That's how I knew I had it before the pain got too bad.

NYC is too hot today! I was just down on 34th shopping, and it's just packed with people. Even in the air conditioned stores, too many people=too much heat!

Never had a Madras drink and currently have no Madras in my wardrobe. I might look for The Dining Room script at home and find the quote about the Hamptons and Madras.

For some reason I have The Dining Room script here at the office.

I believe the Madras comment was an ad lib, but here is a great line:

“I’d like Scotch, sweetheart. Make it reasonably strong. You’ll find the silver measuring gizmo in the drawer by the trays. I want two shots and a splash of water. And I like to use that big glass with the pheasant on it. And not too much ice.”

it does not hur when I walk. But I have a appointment with the doc now tomorrow. And it feels more like a strain than a pain. Does that make sense?

I just took a nap for a couple of hours, so that helped! I was going to go Israeli Dancing tonight like I usually do on Mondays, but the energy just isn't there. Oh well, I'll go again in September.

Did you do anything fun last weekend? I don't recall reading anything from you about it....
