Morning all. Had too many people over for dinner last night, we have 25 more coming tonight. Including the owner of the Mets and his family. Especially brdlwyr, you know how I feel about that!!!!! Took 3 boys (ages 7, 8, 9) to a carnival last night, got home around midnight, dropped off the boys, and went right back out to get Harry Potter. I only read the first 3 chapters before I fell asleep though. Have to put in some major reading time today! Hope you all have a great weekend!!
C_O, Pilates was awesome. I have moved up and we are now doing more advanced exercises. It has really helped with my posture and overall well being.
Last night was nice... though we were VERY disappointed with Dark Water. It was quite boring, it never really delivered. Very blah. Mellow night 'cause tonight is gonna be quite busy... first biking with friends in about 20 minutes, then party tonight, karaoke afterwards.

DD- sounds like you are getting quite a workout with pilates and biking, and of course partying and all the dancing... good time!!
So I just came back from Grandma's house- OMG, I thought the house I am in was big and fancy. Not as much as gma- she has an arcade (full video games and care races and pinball and boxing and pacman and golden tee and whatever else), a movie theater with leather cushiony lay down seats and a big screen, a bowling alley in the basement, a workout room that rivals my gym with equipment and weights, and of course the requisite pool, tennis court, and beach. Wow, I'm just shocked.
I'm back in my own house, after finally moving out of the big house. It's cool, but I am on dialup on my laptop which is a gazillion years old (as in, using AOL 5.0 and the 800 number cuz I can't find a local connection one- if anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it!). About to go outside for awhile to read HP, and I need to go to the grocery store so I have a little food/drink in this house...
Well, great time with my son, but the Cubs had no offense. We had dinner and then retreated to our friends house where we had lots of great times, they are off to the SUBURBS!!!!
We are the lone hold out of the old gang with kids that live in the city!
Thanks Undi... never fun to get dumped, even though one totally saw it coming. And it was nothing serious. Just dating for a couple of weeks.
BUT I had a fantastic evening. Went to my friend's goodbye party... he's going on the Annie tour, and we're all very proud of him. Then went out with my best friend and played darts... hadn't done that in ages.

Yes, the girls were all nice, but stayed up way too late - some after 2:00 a.m.???? I fell asleep at about 12:30 which is past my edtime. My wife left me in charge, man was she cranky!!!!
We are having a relaxing morning, other than the chicken which has now left the yard.
Morning all! It's gray and rainy here (so no yard work will happen) So I guess it will be a day for Harry Potter.

Hey guys! Quick "Hi" before I go to be a Manly Man and help my friend move furniture! Brunch looks lovely Undi - much better than the boring Raisin Bran I had this morning! Hope everyone is having a good weekend! We are under an excessive heat warning today, and are expecting mega thunder-boomers this afternoon! Took C9 to see a not-yet-ready-for-prime-time version of "Cole" last night - (how the heck do you let your cast say that Cole Porter wrote the "Gay Divorce" rather than the "Gay Divorcee'"????) Incredible!
Mom, Liotte, et.al. - my wife finished "Half-Blood Prince" last night - she LOVED it!!!
Looking forward to finishing Harry and to seeing Charlie. Charlie will have to wait until Tuesday. (bummer!)
