Hi GH and Shira and Brdlwyr! (and anyone else who is on now)
Show was good, not as funny the 4th time though as it was the first few...
Back to Wicked and ASU for me!
Oh. liotte. You lucky thing, you.
Great reading this evening at the New Musicals Festival, called Desperate Measures.

Very, very funny. Had a very average mojito afterwards.
Gonna try to make it again on Sunday for "Blankity-Blank," a Mad-Libs musical.

I have a viewing and a funeral (and the post-funeral luncheon for which I must make a salad) this weekend...
And...I am in desperate need of a vacation or I may climb a clock tower very soon.

Lawyer - My momma has that song on a record, I think, when I was growing up.
Beacon - make sure the clock tower is very short, so you might not hurt yourself.
I hate funerals. I've been to too many in a very short period of time.
brdlwyr- kids are going back to school already?? NYC doesn't start until the beginning of September!
Beacon- come to NYC for a visit!

I think my kids start 8/23. Public school is after Labor Day which is the way it should be. My niece and nephew - 8/3!!!!
8/3??????????????? They already started????????????????? Insanity!!!!!!!!!

I agree - kids should be allowed to have some childhood.
Summer is essential in order to make it through the entire school year! What about kids who want to go to camp through august??
Goodmorning hussys. Working from home today. Lawyer; I can't believe scholl is almost around the corner.

When I was a kid we got 3 months summer break (in Costa Rica); they now get only 6 weeks, but they get more 'short' breaks during the year as well.

I am off to lunch with my partner and a bunch of clients. I am not in the mood to be "on"

Dame,
May I ask a question about the Kraft Services?
I've never been on a movie set so forgive my ignorance.
Is there just an on-going buffet set up from breakfast until nighttime? Do the cast and crew have equal access. Does the cast usually eat their meals out with the crew or in their trailer (I imagine it may very based on the person, right?)
Does the cast get to make requests for certain foods?
Just wondering (plus...I'm hungry and can't take lunch quite yet..)

Beacon;
It is different on every set. Usually there is one table with snacks available during the day. ( for everyone but mostly for the crew). And then there are big meals for breakfast , lunch, and dinner. Depending on the bugdet.. these meals can sometimes be extravaganzas.

Thanks, Dame!
Is see it on TV and in movies when the scene is taking place "on a set" and wondered if the selection was always so bountiful. :o)

Hi all!
I cannot believe it's almost school time! YES! I leave in 3 weeks!
Anyway - hope everyone is well. I'm having a day of errands, and then off to the Hollywood Bowl again for Joel Grey and Ute Lemper in "Roaring Twenties"
I was just saying hi to everyone, I don't have anything new to add :)
