Liotte,
in our case.. we are in the entertainment business.. So we need our tv. It is so weird. In 4 years we have never once had troube with ou satelite dish. All of a sudden...it has died.

I guess if you need it for work, it makes sense. I rarely watch tv, especially during the summer, so I don't understand people who sit on the couch watching all day. Which includes many of my friends. Who aren't really my friends anymore, now that I think about it :)

I hope so too! I am taking a kid with me, this will be our 3rd time trying it and I have yet to do the wicked lotto more than 3 times with any kid and not won. *fingers crossed*

And another 21 times for wicked and 23 times for rent and you'll be tied with me!

I can't even beging to imagine what your savings account would belie if you sa eachshow only a max of 3 times. you would be able to retire early.

Thinking of the satellite dish...

Is it wrong to buy a TiVo in college? My brother says it will make me antisocial. But I do want to watch TV, and I do need to tape things, since I won't really have time to watch TV. And I've been saving for a TiVo with a burner so I can put all the shows on DVD and such...

Shira - I would have to go against the Tivo in college. I did have an 11" black and white in my dorm room which my sister sent me when I was a freshman in 1985.

If you do decide to get one.. I wouldn't buy a new one while at college. i would go to ebay and buy a cheap used one. But I agree with lawyer.
