I actually did graduate from HS in 1984... but if I had gone to school in the US I would've been class of '85 or '86, I think. I skipped a grade, and we only go to the 11th grade.

The Challenger exploded in 1986, but it had 10 missions before that.

edit: 9 missions before that... it exploded during the launch of it's 10th.
