I don't either. Our cleaning lady does. It just surprised me you have a service. But I guess that is more common when you live in a city like New York .

I think almost everyone I know in NYC drops off their laundry to be washed. I would do it myself if I had a washer/dryer in the apartment, or even in the basement, but I don't and will not go sit at a laundrymat for hours.

I probably drop off my laundry once every 2 to 3 weeks. It's like .65 a pound.

Padded bras?? No no no, I don't need ANY more padding for my chest! It's big enough! I bought 2 new bras yesterday and it cost a ton.

I used to have a issue. But I don't anymore. I just give the cleaning lady a bonus when it is extra nasty.

When we had a housekeeper (back when I was part of a we) her one stipulation was that she DID NOT do laundry.

Ours volunteered on her own. We would have never asked her. She cleans, does windows, waters plants, does our laundry, and loves us. She is like family at this point. Did I ever tell you the brownie incident story with her?
