Just got back from taking my mom to see Akeela and the Bee, and then lunch of all places as Islands.

She had a good time, and it was a cute movie, so all's well that ends well.

Off to spoil the kitties - Somehow they get toys bought for them on my BD - imagine that!

Kathy Griffin was funny.

RV - Hmmmm. I am not sure you could pay me enough to see that one. I wanted to see The Promise (a HK Action movie) but mom put the kibosh on that.

Akeelah and the Bee was cute though.

Y, I do not see movies. I only joined the family since I am the father. I whispered to my wife during the movie, "contrived." I laughed and enjoyed the afternoon!

It was pretty good. Many calls from friends and family. Almost fully recovered from my stomach ughiness of yesterday. And am now spoiling the kitties like crazy.

All in all, a lovely day.
