Hi all,
Just got home, late night.
Went Israeli Dancing for the first time in ages, it was a lot of fun.
Hope you all had a good evening!

Liotte - have you seen JEWTOPIA? I just got a big flashback to "Hava Nagila".
Nope, with the exception of dancing tonight, I haven't done anything Jewish since last year. And it's been wonderful!

For the record, we really didn't enjoy it at all - very hackneyed and cliched. But it did open with a spirited dancing of that tune at something called the 'Jewish Singles Mixer' - or something along those lines.
I was told that I would like it. I don't know about that, but one day when I come home from work and am bored, I will stop by and get a rush ticket- they go on sale 10 minutes before curtain, and I live next door to the theater.

We had heard so much about its success here in LA, so decided to check it out in NYC. We were somewhat dumfounded as to what all the fuss was about. It seemed to be the same jokes that Jews have been telling about themselves for . . . well, since forever.
And it wasn't really well presented, at that. It comes off as a third tier sketch on SNL.
I'm sorta shocked it's still running, I walked out.
Hmm, maybe I'll think twice before I try to go see it. Then again, I tend to love shows that many others don't (Tarzan, ASU)

Liotte - I'm all for forming your own opinion, so go for it! I can just tell you that the four of us all agreed on this one - as did the rest of the audience, so it seemed.

Well, I will probably check it out for myself some time, I'll see if I agree with the rest of the "audiance" when I'm there.
brdlwyr,
Please don't start those kind of rumors. You know Namo will take that info and go on some hate tirade. I was just catching up on the rest of his garbage.
Hi DG! Getting ready for white party?

It would be impolite of me to say, "You Bitch!", so I'll just go edit my post
Who are you calling a bitch? Me or Liotte?
