Dame, I truly was. He is my mentor, but to see him on his feet at 80 and handle the panel of judges and his opponent with skill and style was an honor!

Me have hussy envy.
Seder was nice. Long, but nice.
My family is gone as of tomorrow - hooray!

My mom asked me to go with her and my Aunt/Cousin to a Seder out out in Woodland Hills, but I said "enough".
I am done. Me, a nice glass or two of cab, and my cats are going to enjoy a quiet evening just relaxing.
One Seder is more than enough for me, especially because I have to lead now and cannot get drunk. A sober Seder, it is just about a sin.

Sober seder? What's that? You are required to drink 4 glasses of wine, how can you stay sober??
Do you keep kosher for passover?

Nope. I do not keep Kosher. And, I probably will only stick with the Matzoh for a couple of days.
And, try reading very small text and keep the darn thing moving and then driving home on 4 glasses of wine . . . not going to happen.
Maybe I will make up for it tonight!

Why are you working? Shouldn't you be entertaining Undi??
YWIW, my mother called me "irreverant" for going to a show last night and not bothering with seders or keeping passover. Oh well.

My mom would have a stroke if she knew I'm not watching Holy Week, and have eaten meat every night this week.
Work... yeah... gotta do it. I have tomorrow off.

True, but those might be next...
Sounds like kids today never live up to their parents standards and expectations.

Trust me, when you do, it is not a piece of cake either.
Expectations can always be expanded . . .
Ugh - don't get me started again.

Posted: 4/13/06 at 2:17pmI think my mom gave up a long time ago... I live up to my own expectations, and that's good enough for her.

Posted: 4/13/06 at 3:03pmTonight, just relaxing and enjoying the warm weather. Turkey burgers on the grill and olives in the glass. (I wonder if OTA has recognized that I have switched from a twist to olives.)

I may pick up some Rib Eye and do a bit of grilling to go with my glass of cab as well!
Back to work for me. Conference call is over.
