You said it was warm, maybe the heat is getting to you. Maybe you're thinking about that stream too much

It must be the heat, or thoughts of the stream.
My virginal mind just cannot handle all of this!

Well, it has been a while, but not that long!
I just think DG's innocence and virginal nature is rubbing off on me.
Excuse me now while my head explodes.

Oh that! The post that lead to that comment was a lot less scandalous than we made it seem.

The word "scandal" just has such a nice ring to it. We need a good scandal. One that's fascinating but not too disturbing. Too much "scandal suppression" these days. I guess that's what happens when the fascists are in office.
Ooops. Sorry. Didn't mean to hurt any fascists' feelings. (Oh, wait, they don't HAVE any.)

Well, I do have a vivid imagination!
Time to get me a drink.
Miss P, here's hoping that the "Decider in Chief" will get what he deserves after the elections in November!

YWIW, do you think some people are too dumb to be the target of a scandal?

Well, if he is willing to execute people who are mentally retarded, I guess he can be held accountable for his own actions and responsible for scandals that occurred under his watch.
I would love to see a civil lawsuit brought by the American People for gross negligence and fraud. But, that will never happen. But a gal can dream.
And, evening Jackson.

And, for those who think I may be overstating his zeal to impose the death penalty while Governor of Texas:

Well, that was a drastic change of subject!
YWIW, I read about that and was disgusted by it almost 6 years ago now. That's our leader!

Someone told me that drinking alone was a sign of a problem.
I pop in from time to time.

Yes, I remember these stories from the first election, too. I don't want to sound mean, but I despise that man and everything he stands.
I was so devastated when he was re-elected that I "decided" (now I can't even use that verb without thinking of HIM. Geez.) the only way I would get through the next 4 years was to block out as much of him as I could. I stopped watching the news (so I didn't have to "see" him involuntarily) and subscribing to the Washington Post.
My husband clues me in (which may not be better than my reading the news myself because he hates the Bush administration even MORE than I do...if that's possible), and I select news articles to read, but it all makes me so angry that I have to be careful or else I will give up the will to live. I worry everyday that the planet is going to implode and feel as though I'm holding my breath until 2008.
So, is everyone else having a happy night?
