Posted: 3/29/06 at 1:21amI don't drink a lot either, but comedy clubs have 2 drink minimums. With the show tonight, it was a necessity in order to get through it.

Liotte, many years ago before there was ever a Broadway musical version, there was a movie (an ancient art form) called The Producers. It starred some of the most talented comedians who ever lived, including Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder, Kenneth Mars and Dick Shawn.
See it. Netflix has it.
Then you'll understand that of which I speak.

OLD movies???? That movie is NOT "old." An "old" movie is After the Goldrush or Wings. Good lord, Liotte. I may have to disown you...funny thumbs or no funny thumbs.

Rath, my dad used to let me stay up late and even miss the first half of school if a really great movie was on TV. (Liotte, in the "old" days, you watched what was on television when it came on because there was no such thing as tivo, vcrs, dvd recorders, cable, netflix or on-demand.)
It's something I continued to do straight through high school, college and so forth. Now, I don't need the movies because I have the BWW board! But I don't sleep a lot anyway. It runs in the family. My sister hardly ever sleeps either.

I wish I had that. I sleep more than most people I know.
Do you feel tired a lot? Or can you survive and thrive on just a few hours?

Well, that's rather close-minded of you. You've seen Wicked 31 times. That show wouldn't have existed without the original 1939 film version of The Wizard of Oz. Tarzan movies were popular for years and years (before I was born) and now THAT'S a musical! I could go on and on in this direction for hours.
Rath, I'm not tired very often. But I do love to sleep.

I wasn't totally serious, hence the smiley face after my post.
I have seen some old movies, just not that many.
