Who's sick today?

When I was little, my mom always read this book to me when I was sick.


It seems many people are getting sick now, either with the regular flu, swine flu, cold, stomach virus...

I got my H1N1 shot yesterday and last night I started to feel yucky. In the middle of the night I woke up and the whole right side of my face was hurting so bad and my throat on the right side was killing me!! I am going on a cruise next week so I don't want to take any chances so I went to the doctor today. My throat is very red and my glands are very swollen and my temp is around 100. Still, most of the congestion and pain is on the right side...very strange. The doctor gave me an antibiotic and hopefully it'll kick in soon!

I don't think I got sick from getting the shot (and neither does the doctor) but it was quite a coincidence!

Hope everyone is either healthy or getting better from whatever you may have.

I threw up last night and felt weak all day...feel better now though for the most part. Haha...I would so read that book.

I've got a stomach bug too. It started Thursday night. The worst of it was yesterday, I was literally crying my stomach was in such pain. It's a little better today and I'm going to try to venture out to the grocery store.

I have the most nightmarish cold I have ever had. Because I'm so congested, I can't smell or taste anything, and I can BARELY hear because when I get a cold, my ears are blocked, too, so I kind of feel like I've been buried in clear jello. My voice is also completely gone... all I've been doing this weekend is watching Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and Sondheim covers on youtube because that somehow makes me feel better.
