My brother's a senior in high school and he played varsity.

Mind you, he also calls stuff gay when he means lame sometimes, so it's not like he's perfectly accepting. But yeah, I guess it could be positive. I've never heard them say anything but great stuff about this guy, probably because he's a tremendous athlete and good looking, like I said. I sometimes wondered if he were less popular if he would have come out at all. Or maybe that would make it harder, I don't know.

The fact that a high school athelete comes out at all is a momentous step - much less a popular one. And to have it be accepted is beyond description.

There is hope.
