This long piece by Murray Wass of the National Journal corrorborates what my Republican friends have been saying all along: that Rove outed Valerie Plame by accident or afterthought not by plan--and then realized he had broken the law and tried to hide the evidence.
Which is why every Republican in DC has long accepted that Rove will be indicted...unless Luskin can get him off, which seems impossible now.
Except if it really WAS an accident, then how did all those OTHER journalists hear about Plame. Who decided that Libby and Rove should tell others?
My money's still on Cheney. And Bush knew.
