I was watching EastEnders the other night and I think I finally can understand a full episode of the cockney dialect.
Any other EastEnders watchers?

Haven't watched EastEnders, but it sounds like the dialect is similar to "Only Fools and Horses." I had to rewind like mad on that series! It's not great - silly sitcom, but a friend brought it by for me to have a look - it's, well, "Meh."
Is EastEnders any good?
I like BBC!

I used to watch EastEnders YEARS ago - such fun. During that time, a premium for donating to the PBS channel that showed it was an EastEnders dictionary. I don't think I have it anymore, but it was pretty funny.

EastEnders is your typical soap opera. There are about 30 different characters and each week the story revolves a different group of characters. Of course over the years, they've all intermarried and had various relationships. And of course, they all hang out at the local pub The Queen Vic.
I just like the way they talk, it's very cockney.
