Why do they even bother having a Q&A with Bush?

I don't see what the point is in having the press corp ask Bush questions if he doesn't answer a single one of them. Oh, he starts talking and mentions some of the key words from the question, but I have yet to hear an actual answer to any of the questions being asked.

Off the cuff speaking is not his strong suit. I sincerely think kids like LIAM would be able to answer more directly.

Let's not even get into his creative vocabulary, repetitiveness, grammar and stammering.

it's hard for him to put simple sentences together
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

No Child Left Behind

Irony. Bush talking about the uneducated and illiterate.

And why is his initial response to everything a formula like "I'm not a lawyer" or "I'm not a financial planner"

Are we to believe Bush doesn't know No Child Left Behind is being legally challenged? And if that's the case - why DOESN'T he know that. Oh. Right. He's not a lawyer.

I especially liked the part where he said he didn't think he should base his Presidential decisions on polls. However, he sure backed off the Terri Schiavo situation once the polls showed that the majority didn't want him involved didn't he?
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I am so angry about his whole speech. For starters, it was pointless, and now I need to watch Survivor and The Apprentice in shifts!
A most ingenious paradox.
