Was Taye given the script 30 seconds before taping or something? He's really...not...good...

This is the first time I've seen this show for awhile, but I'm loving it!!!
Funny, when I went to The Sound of Music Sing-Along, it was all old people and little kids with their parents. I guess there just aren't that many stereotypical gay guys in Kansas...or at least that would risk being seen at The Sound of Music.

The audience is as overly enthusiastic as if this were the Oprah show. Ugh.
Taye still sucks, but he looks great in that blue shirt.

My parents put on tshirts with math equations that had Sound of Music lyrics. They were "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria"...it was only slightly embarassing.
My favorite was the elderly couple dressed up like edelweiss.

Posted: 1/5/06 at 8:22pmIt's only 5:21 here, but at 8:00 I am definately switching it on. I went to the Sing Along SOM at the Castro last year. Too silly for words.

Oh, the Sound of Music stories I have to tell...
Like when my grandparents saw a production where the Mother Superior's accent made it sound like she said, "Maria, what is it you **** face?"
Or the production in North Carolina where Mother Superior said "Whenever God closes a door, he always opens a winder."
I guess they're mainly Mother Superior stories...

Posted: 1/5/06 at 8:29pmThe Mother Superior in my production was Jewish and was making the sign of the cross with her left hand....luckily a priest caught it during a rehearsal or she would've been crucified.

Missed the end, due to a long-winded singer who wants me to audition to sing backup for his group.
Just tell me where to be, when, and what to sing. I don't need your life story, buddy!
