I am casting Cher in the Mae West role. I mean, why do they remake only good movies? Wouldn't it be a challenge to see if you can make a bad movie good? For example, wouldn't a ISHTAR remake or HUDSON HAWK remake be great?

Just look at this clip and tell me you would not want to see a multimillion dollar epic of this scene recreated!

OH YEAH, BABY! I would spend a thousand bucks! Classic entertainment. Now, of course, ya need a really bad Bway Director for just the right effect. (btw, is this on DVD?)

Yeah, I checked with Amazon and it is available on DVD.

Do we know exactly how old Mae was when this was shot? I know her age is a bit of a mystery.

That's 1 DVD I'm buying immediately! Haven't seen it since 1978! She had to be at least 75-80ish...
--Jerry Orbach was her chauffeur?!?!
And what about that other classic - Myra Breckenridge? Mae West AND Rex Reed AND Mr. Huston AND Tom Selleck AND Farah Fawcett..... OY!

Why would you want to remake such a lovely time capsule as this? The film is hilarious to watch. I have this in my film collection and pop it in ever once in a while for the camp value. I mean the opening number alone is pure gold! "Hooray for Hollywood!"

Myra Breckenridge is a dreadful film, that I could possibly never watch again.

I could never sit through Myra Breckinridge or Sextette again. I find them painful.
