I have TMJ. It's hereditary; my mother and sister have it as well.
Back in high school, my jaw locked up during an inopportune moment with my boyfriend. I didn't sue him for it, it wasn't his fault. The problem wasn't the Starburst. The problem was someone at risk for developing TMJ chose to eat a Starburst.

I ate Starburst when I had braces on my teeth. No harm done.

I understand how greatly this discredits me and therefore rely only upon my dashing and strikingly good looks to propel me through life's many challenges.
