She doesn't deserve a pet.
Keep swatting the cat...it'll only get more aggressive and learn to hate your hand, and you.
The cat in the video clearly has behavioral problems...sometimes cats just come that way and part of adoption is working through those issues.
Lessons: NEVER give a cat as a present. Adopt a cat from a shelter or the ASPCA, where you will be screened to see if you are a good fit for the cat. If you find a cat/kitten/litter, call the ASPCA or shelter near you and let them take them in first.
This video is the least funny "trending" thing I've seen in a while.

I'm not even a pet person, but what an idiot. The thing about these videos is: They have to POST them for the world to see them. WHY would anyone post something that makes them look so dumb and/or mean?
You want to get rid of your cat, take it back to wherever you bought it, or even better, just to a shelter where they'll know how do handle an animal if you don't.
