Well after doing some research on Ibdb.com I found out that Flowers for Algernon was made into a musical called Algernon and Charlie(or the other way around).
I thought that was weird, it it didn't last very long at all.

Posted: 6/23/05 at 5:13pmI saw "Charlie and Algernon" starring PJ Benjamin. Some decent songs in the score, but it all got sorta odd when he started singing to the mouse.

I saw Charlie and Algernon too. The only reason I remember it fondly was that it was the last show I saw in the old Helen Hayes Theatre before it was destroyed for horrible the Marriot Marquis Hotel.
So many theatres were destroyed for that eyesore.
