Let's say I'm logged on to BWW and my Mom calls.
She asks me what I'm up to.
I would say:
"I am logged on an Internet Message Board so I can exchange opinions on and information about the Theatre with others in an Adult and Supportive Manner."
"I say YOU'RE the CUTEST one. No, I say YOU'RE the CUTEST One. And we go on like that from dawn to three."

Well I'd definitely give my mother the same crap you just gave yours.
My actual definition? A place where I go to discuss theater, insert my abrasive opinions along with information gathered over the many years I worked on the Broadway scene, and where I've met some great friends and hopefully very few who are not.
