I should mention that the mystery jar candle that was sent to me a few weeks ago was a gift from my neighbors. They are wintering in Florida but see me throughout the summer nursing my tomato plants in the garden. They also know of my love of scented candles. When they found the tomato vine scented candle, they had it shipped to me. It was SUPPOSED to have a gift card but didn't. Obviously someone screwed up.
Ah - Mojito! I'll have to check that one out! Dollypop - it was either at Yankee or Illuminations that I saw a tomoato basil scent. It smelled a bit like spaghetti sauce! Perhaps it is discontinued, as I saw it some time ago.
I checked out Lemon Lavender in the Yankee store, and it smelled too lemony - not enough lavender-y. For those who have tried it, does it smell better while burning?
The tomato vine scent that my neighbors sent me was from Illuminations. I believe Yankee has a basil scent. My son and I will be up in Stockbridge, MA next month and they have a huge Yankee Candles shop there. I'm sure I'll find the less popular scents there.
DollyPop...Idid a web search on basil candles and they are quite popular. I was looking for kaffir lime and found it as well. Just type basil candles in your browser.
