Yankee Opening Day National Anthem/Betsy Wolfe

Normally, when it is announced a Broadway person is going to sing the national anthem at sporting event you feel that it is going to be done very well. It was quite surprising yesterday that Betsy Wolfe(&Juliet) had to look at her phone to sing the lyrics of the national anthem. I assume you know a bit in advance that you have been selected to sing this song so you would think that any performer would learn the lyrics. You are singing in front of 50,000 people in a stadium and quite a few TV viewers so you should be prepared. That being said, she sang the song very well and my Yankees held on to win the opener 4-2
