Mathmatically we still have a chance, but Red Sox Nation fans are eternally and annually pessimistic/optomistic that they'll pull through. It's sorta kinda in our blood, part of our New England makeup. We never can be quite secure in the feeling that we can pull it off, but in 2004.... :)
Anyway, I'm still cheering for them until the fat lady sings (she may be practicing scales right now, but she's still on the sidelines!!).

She is warming up
At least in Boston, you still have Fenway. In a few years, we will lose Yankee Stadium but we will get a new Met stadium to replace the toilet known as Shea Stadium

They've done a lot of improvements and renovations to the park, but it's still the smallest in the majors (and at least it still doesn't have a corporate name). It has a lot of history behind it, and I've always enjoyed being there. I'm sure that eventually they will proceed to build a new park somewhere - it just won't be quite the same though.
