Traded to Texas Rangers for a top flight pitching prospect and others. Yankees are smart realizing they ain't doing it this year. They are restocking their farm system and will be in good shape for next year and beyond. Now get rid of A Rod and Tex and the housecleaning will be complete.

Very good trades by Brian Cashman to restock the farm system, they are now ranked #3. Tex is retiring at end of year and hope they release A-Rod, tough to bite the bullet on all the money they owe him but right thing to do. Glad they called up Sanchez to catch and DH. Judge should be up from AAA next to play RF. Kid is 6ft 8in tall with awesome power and great arm. Will strike out a bunch but that may be worth it if he can hit 30 HR's. Greg Bird will be playing winter ball and hopefully will replace Tex in 2017.

The players they received from Cleveland for Miller were both excellent.
I have to give them credit.

They actually got four players in the deal, Frazier and Sheffield were the two best players.
