Posted: 3/21/06 at 8:20pmThere is a reason for the doilies, DollyPop. The Passover items should not come in contact with anything that isn't Kosher for Passover. Of course I can't see how a piece of frilly paper would do that. Many obervant people line there cupboard shelves with paper for the holiday as well.

Posted: 3/21/06 at 8:24pmMy kosher friends at work put paper towels on the table before they eat lunch. Although I am not Jewish, I've been doing the same thing because the Mecca of Education is overrun by mice and we've been finding fecal matter all over the place. Better safe than sorry!
