Billy Porter:
Jordan Catalano said: "I saw a fellow Jewish theater-loverthis morning say the Billy Porter thing is so bad because he used the word “replace” which brings Charlottesville to mind and I hadn’t even thought of that. The whole “Jews will not replace us”. I think that’s still a very open wound for a lot of people."This is the FIRST exact thing I thought of. What a tone deaf statement for him to make given the current climate. If the wound had healed it has definitely been reopened with this curr...
Performances in LA cancelled due to fires Jeremy Jordan, Wicked, etc..
I’m near Studio City. Been without power since Tuesday with no signs of it being restored soon. Thank goodness that’s the biggest inconvenience so far aside from the constant unknown of pop up fires. I actually have tickets to Wicked tomorrow but I assume it’ll be cancelled. Hope everyone stays safe!!

Dan6 said: "I saw the 1997 original (though in the pre-Broadway LA run with LaChanze and John Rubinstein instead of Audra and Peter Friedman) and the 2009 Broadway revival, and Ragtime is one of my personal all-time top 5 musicals. Came from LA to see the closing performance tonight and am very glad I did. Sure, there are things that can’t be fully realizedin a concert staging, and there were moments when I missed some of the choices from the prior productions, but just hearing that score per...

Calling directly was a lot smoother than waiting online. I was done getting tickets way before my time on the cue was up.

Two and one-half hours of poorly done camp is not enough. And right now, if one is being generous, that's all the creative team has got to work with. I'm shocked that none of the posters on this board -- or almost none -- are talking about the near total absence of amemorablescore and choreography in this t...

OUAOMT did the same so that every understudy got the chance to take each role before announcing the closing date"While getting to go on might be a plus for the standby, Eden is clearly sick in her IG story. I’d say no need to start conspiracy theories but stirring the pot seems like what this board likes to do best.

I don’t speak for Sara but I understood where she is coming from. I don’t think Sara is saying to love and praise everything. Criticism is one thing, but it’s like some of them spent time choosing the cruelest possible ways to say they didn’t care for the show when there are living breathing people who put their blood sweat and tears into their job. It’s just mean. And yes, you need to have thick skin. Fair enough. I’m not saying to sugar coat your review but no need to come across like a bul...

Saw it in La Jolla and was excited to see it come to Broadway. What time do reviews generally get posted?
