I'm not even kidding or trying to make some crass joke here. For all of her many faults, I still have a soft spot for Joan. Was watching a couple of Fashion Police clips on Hulu and when we got to some of the more recent episodes, it seems that her speech was slurring badly. Like almost late-Dick-Clark-New-Year's-Eve-bad at times. Am I crazy?
Medicated? Drunk? Exhaustion? Stroke? I hope it's not something serious.
nooo, noooo, noooo...that's just the way she talks. I know, cause my mom, the same age as Joan and grew up in the same place...same weird accent,,,there's always some slight slurring of the end of sentences. It's almost like that Greta Van Sustren thing where she just doesn't pronounce certain letters/ I jokingly call it 'fastLazyTalkin'
I've been under the assumption that it was a result of her plastic surgeries. Her mouth seems to have lost some of its mobility, forcing her to slur over certain letters that her mouth can no longer form. That's just a guess. But some other women who've been over-surgeried seem to have the same problem.
Art has a double face, of expression and illusion.
Uhh... Tiny? I have seen Joan Rivers speak before and in this context. Before I cut the cord a couple of years ago, I used to DVR Fashion Police. Joan did NOT sound like that then.
Sabrelady, some news outlets were reporting that the autopsy and cause of death were inconclusive and further investigations were going on. Roxy is just reporting what he read.
You know, someone's soul only wanders the earth as a ghost only if people can't let her go.
Didn't you see THE SECRET GARDEN?
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
