And in real life, our friend DayDreamer participated in a video about being a gay man living with AIDS.
He didn't want to post this here about himself, so gave me permission to post it on his behalf.
I am so proud to call this wonderful man - Roy - my friend.
This video should be shared, so please watch. And, if you feel inclined to share it with friends, please do.
I congratulate him on making this video, and I thank him for sharing his story.
Love and continued good health to you, my friend!

Oh, thanks so much for posting this. DayDreamer is such a marvelous soul.
Thanks for posting this Addy.
DD is truly one of the most decent and kind men I have met.
I will continue be thankful for the amazing folks I have met on this funny little message board.
This thread title scared me until I read the post.
I met DayDreamer at my first (only) BWW meet-up. He was really friendly, even though I was a glorified child at the time. (I think I was 19?) Glad to see he's still doing well, even though neither of us post much anymore.
Namo called me "woofy" ...
Thank you Addy for posting and you all for your kind words.
YWiW - I am too. The friendships forged on this corner of the cyberworld have inspired and changed me and do so daily. Even though I don't post often, my connection to bww is still strong.
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

Amazing video Roy.
I know it's been said, but you really are an inspiration for living life to the fullest.
There are certain people to say "yes" to life, and they are to be treasured. Roy says "Yes!" to life.
And, yes, he is woofy.
Do you all know about his work with the theatre company AROUET?
He is the founder and Artistic Director. Arouet describes it's mission as: To present works that speak of civil rights, tolerance, freedom of and from religion, social justice, and celebration of our differences; we showcase works from celebrated playwrights both contemporary and classic, and are always on the lookout for exciting lesser known or new works.
One of the upcoming projects fascinates me: "THE TEMPERAMENTALS"
The Temperamentals chronicles the founding of the Mattachine Society, the first sustained gay rights organization in the United States at the onset of the Eisenhower era and the McCarthy trials. At a time when homosexuality was heavily prosecuted, these men stood up to the status quo and their efforts led to the repeal of “Crimes Against Nature” laws in most states and a 1958 U.S. Supreme Court decision ruling that a magazine calling for equality for homosexuals is not obscene ensured the growth of the gay press and media.
Roy, not only are you a wonderful friend, but your life's work and passion matters.
So proud of you for following your dreams!

orangeskittles - yikes! I didn't think the title might scare people. (I suppose my posts this year would have given you pause!)
I'll update it!
Beautiful video, beautiful person! The very first person I met from BWW.
