For years my Dad has been trying to get me to watch this movie. I always refused because it was in black and white(I know, I know.. I've changed) So, we started watching it in my English class because we just finished reading Frankenstein, and I must say, It is easily one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I thought I was going to pee myself during the "Putting on a Ritz" part!
Who else loves this movie?
This is easily my favorie Mel Brooks movie. You need a good laugh until you cry? Pop this gem in to the DVD.... Hmm Good idea!
that is funny and so is Dracula: Dead and Loving it.

taffeta, DARLING
taffeta, Dear...
No, the dress is taffeta,
wrinkles so easy
you men are all alike
7 or 8 quickies and it's off for a night with the boys.
My, what HUGE knockers.
Zank you, Herr Doktor.
PUT ZE CANDLE, BECK!
This movie is my favorite of all time, and easily has some of the best lines ever. How sad to NOT watch movies because they are B&W, you are missing some great art.......

It was made in black & white as a tribute to the original FRANKENSTEIN movie. Most of the laboratory equipment in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is the actual stuff from the first movie.
I think it would lose a lot if it was made in color.

I can't spell it, but I love the noise the horses make every time "Frau Blucher" is mentioned.

LOVE this film.
Teri Garr and Gene Wilder with the moving bookcase and candle.
Cloris Leachman.
Putting on the Ritz.
The violin playing to call to the Monster--with Igor waiting anxiously to jump in to play his two notes on the French horn.
