I may be a hundred and one
But I think like thirty-one
My hair is long since white
But I'm on the prowl tonight
She can be a nine point nine
She don't have to be a ten
I want a Young Girl Friend

Someone to make me feel
Like I've never felt before
Someone to let me know
I'm still alive
I long to stroke her hair
Look deep in her eyes
Someone to love me before I die

I know society
Will look down on her and me
Her daddy will hate my guts
Make threats on my life
Her mamma will diapprove
Say we both have sinned
I want a Young Girl Friend

Someone to make me feel
Like I've never felt before
Someone to let me know
I'm still alive
I long to stroke her hair
Look deep in her eyes
Someone to love me before I die

Okay, my secret's out
I want a Young Girl Friend

Do you still have the lung capacity to inflate her?

I think I have to register as Sex Offender just for having read this...

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
