Just wanted to know what audition songs you all use. I have a list of about six songs depending on whether or not I'm having an on day;
Run Away With Me - The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samntah Brown (for a good day)
Make Them Hear You - Ragtime (for a good day)
Wheels of a Dream - Ragtime (for a bad day)
Halloween - RENT (for a bad day)
Sunset Boulevard - Sunset Boulevard (doesn't matter what day)I'm Alive - next to normal (if I'm auditioning for a rock musical)

"A Change in the Wind" from Caddie Woodlawn the Musical!
Great piece for a young high belt alto, and very few people know it. The sheet music is only available on their website right now....

I am an Alto/Tenor, working on maybe getting up into the Mezzo range as well.
"Alto's Lament" by Zina Goldrich is my only solid piece right now. There are a few I would hope to get nailed for my repertoire:
