Anything from the MAGIC FLUTE and LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, and of course Requiem

and I agree with everything Jaily said!

One of the two pit orchestras I ever played in was for "The Magic Flute" back in college. (The other was "Die Fledermaus.") I would have to list "Flute" at the top for "nostalgia" reasons alone. My favorites are the overture, and the Queen of the Night aria.

It helps if you have a particularly dazzling Diva singing it... which we did!

I especially adore the slow movement from his piano concerto #21 and Divertimento #15 but I pretty much adore all of his music and really enjoy my CD and DVD of the film "Amadeus"

"Some kid in my bio class had a Mozart cd today so my teacher put it on... about ten minutes later i screamed out "TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR" did he really write it?! i had no idea."

Kate2, he didn't actually write it. The tune twinkle twinkle is sung to is called "Ah, vous dirais-je, Maman". It's a French children's song that Mozart heard sung in the back streets of Paris while touring there. He composed some ingenious and innovative keyboard variations on the theme, which many pianists (myself included) love to play to this day.

As for my favourite Mozart piece, Non Piu Andrai from The Marriage of Figaro is one of the most insanely catchy arias ever written. I also adore nearly everything from the Magic Flute and nearly all of the symphonies from about No. 20 onwards. Magical stuff.
The only Mozart work i can safely say i detest is Cosi Fan Tutte. Dull and stupid at the same time.
It's sad for me that my voice type (dramatic tenor) doesn't suit the Mozartian style re: Your Favorite Mozart Piece

I've become quite fond of Bester Jungling from Der Schauspieldirektor.

The Queen of the Night aria -- I'm a sucker for high notes.

Also, Alleluia - From "Exsultate Jubilate" and I'm in love with the Natalie Dessay album of concert arias. Again, I'm a sucker for a high note.

Oooo...and Anna Moffo singing "Ach Ich Fuhls"...no one did that song like her.
