My last GREAT vacation? NYC, baby!

That was six years ago. In between, I've traveled to China, Florida, Hawaii, and Colorado...along with some shorter trips to Las Vegas and Disneyland. They were all great, but nothing beats New York!

My last vacation was to NYC and of course I loved it! I am going back in 4 weeks time! Can't wait!

While I have had some very memorable vacations around the world, my favorite vacation is my annual Spring visit to the Virgin Islands -- just me, the sun, the water, a stack of books and island drinks. Pure reinvigorating heaven!

September 2003 - my 10 day trip to Paris for my birthday. It was the best birthday present I ever gave myself.

My boyfriend and I went jet skiing in the Florida Keys last August. We had a blast -- cost us an arm and a tooth to rent the darn things all the time -- but boy did we laugh!!!

I just got back from a school ski trip to Quebec.
However us seniors (and a few hot juniors) didn't do too much skiing

Last May I spent two weeks in Ireland and drove all over. Ended up at the Fleadh Nua.

Nov/Dec 2003 - three weeks in Australia: Hearing an astronomer tell Aboriginal legends about the constellations in the middle of the outback; riding a camel (poor, poor camel :)); snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef at Cairns; travelling through the rain forest; seeing the sights in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Getting chummy with a koala. Seeing all the other wonderful wildlife. In a word: magical.
