FindingRich..er, excuse me, Namo, is it? (That's what you're calling yourself, right?) I'm flattered you spend so much online time chasing me and mentioning my name. Thanks for name dropping. You know you're hot for me. Just accept it and you'll sleep better at night. LOL BB

P.S. Oh yes, just for the record, see below.

Uh, anybody who created that pathetic Off-Topic Puzzler thread of yours (and didn't that strategy bomb big-time?) has no, I mean absolutely zero, business accusing anybody of "chasing" anybody else. And your sorry little attempt to get somebody to actually type out what you didn't have the guts to do, and still don't, is the saddest commentary of all about the type of person you actually are.

Yours for much, much, much, much better detective work. And until you come up with something even more honest to say about yourself, my very favorite quote from anybody, anywhere remains:

With a very big LOL I say that the only I find sad and pathetic is your slavish attention to me. NO, NO, a thousand times, NO!

But, you're definitely a girl who can't take "no" for an answer, nor a dose of your your own medicine. Silly fool.

Really? Cuz I ignored your little thread for six days and you desperately kept goosing it back up to the top urging others to join in, and nobody wanted to! When somebody finally did reply to your third attempt at creating a group to gang up on me, he called you on the carpet for having no guts in your "outing but not quite outing" game. If you want to talk sad and pathetic, that was it right there. If you had a hypothesis about me, you could have just asked. But instead, you played your own girlish little game that backfired. (No offense intended to actual girls.)

The more you say, the more it reinforces why this is my favorite quote:

Yes, Richard, I was. And I thank you for stating what I had been thinking for so long while reading that thread and poor "chasing" bulldog's attempts to work but not quite work FindingRichard...er... into threads like "Rent in Arrears." And nobody responded! It was fun to watch. Still, I am thankful you pointed out what was really going on.

Sincerely,
Richard

That reminds me of this one Richard Iflit:

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
President Theodore Roosevelt (1912)

Richard 42 I am very impressed by the wide array of quotes from differing sources. Not the same old Noel Coward/Oscar Wilde epigrams that have been trotted out more often than Tallulah's.

"I love the dress, darling, but your purse is on fire."

You made that one up, didn't you Roxy Richard Goldstein?

It reminds me of that line of Dorothy Parker's about using the word "horticulture" in a sentence: "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think."

My friend Eric whose real name, like many of us, is Richard Goldstein, sent me this one about the sadness that comes with the Sex & The City finale: "This is worse than when The Smiths broke up."

Namo

You should know who Mr Goldstein is. Would Mr Goldstein ( of the Village Voice ) espouse the views I used to ? Would Mr Goldstein totally disavow any interest in politics & not vote anymore ? I think not. In the political scheme of things, you have mistaken me for someone who cares what happens in the political arena.

Get out your Ouija board for the answer. I am Mr Roxy of theater fame theaters are my game . Politics feh

I did hear someone say it ( the horse phrase)in jest .
