Posted: 3/6/06 at 7:48pmNot to be a Debbie Downer but....my best friend since I was 4, who I haven't spoken to for many years, was in a car accident yesterday and is in a coma. He is semi-responsive, but he is in critical condition. I stopped talking to him shortly after I came out, since he is a hardcore republican, and now I feel so guilty for cutting off our friendship for something that now seem so trivial. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

He will be in my thoughts. Hopefully, you both will have the chance to reconnect and reacapture what you have both lost.

Posted: 3/7/06 at 12:13pmHe's in California, and his Mom hasn't called us yet, so we don't know. He was in a stable, semi-responsive condition last night. He's not on life-support, which is comforting.
