did you have a space, dash or other strange character in its title? was it a jpeg?

That's it above. It's a jpg. Nothing funny in the file name. Maybe it's too big? Some boards compress the files into the size they want. I didn't see any instructions for this particular board, though.

this site too will make dynamic thumbnails. did you try uploading from your desktop or the internet? have you tried it since the first failed attempt?

I uploaded from my computer, not the internet. I've tried three times since the first attempt. The photo uploads and shows in my profile, but the dynamic thumbnail shows up as a broken image, as it does in a post.

I've just tried it again. It's still not working.

Your icon had a bad jpg header...
