MasterLcZ befriended me very early, and though for the longest time I thought he truly was Brad Oscar (those wee photos are powerful, y'all), I grew to depend on his even-handed presence and wisdom here. And succinct posts. And by the way: if anyone has a question about art, he's the man to turn to.

The wise Iflitfloat came along and patted me on the head when I most needed it--and raised the level of discourse here in many a thread. Another treasure. Fair and balanced and devoid of hysteria. Sometimes, late at night, you need to read posts from people who think before they start typing (I'm not one, but I admire those like Iflit who do...)

But you know what? Many people here are friendly, curious and welcoming of ideas unlike their own (have I learned a lot from Papaloves); and as for the halls of high school aspect of this board ... well, the little sub-cliques that form, dismantle, and re-form between recess and lunch ... they are part of the ultimate fun, no? I leave every now an then for a week or two, but always return, and know someobody will talk to me.

I had PM-ed a few ppl about broadway stuff or Fordham Uni...

but I have to say Emcee is the first friend. Maybe only friend. We started talking a lot and swapped Raul/Adam stories and started talking to each other online.
She's super friendly and sweet and I know everyone loves her on the board!

Besides my "gay man love" ranting where I picked up fellow Liza's like m'self...

Otherwise, no one really has tried to be friendly

The first thing I remember from these boards was being in an argument with robbiej, when it was done he told me that he had enjoyed the conversation, so I'd say that he was the reason that I stayed around, and I've had many great conversations since. Thanks, robbiej!

And of course, emcee is great- she was my first PM buddy
