a TV question

OK... I have four remote controls for my cable boxes. Why can't I find any of them?

I've considered connecting my three remotes to each other. That way the clump of electronics is far too large to lose, and I never end up in the situation where I can turn on the TV, switch the channel, but not adjust the volume.

next time you want to switch from channel 2 to 720, go walk over to the box.
