Need more info. Like, experience, training? Moving to the city is a big deal and can be very rough. Have a nice sized savings account.
Get yourself a good headshot, and write a resume.
Be prepared for lots of auditions, lots of rejection. Have a thick skin.

Where do you live now? Many small to mid-size cities have excellent theatre scenes...have you auditioned locally?

i live in portland ,maine but all the commtiy theatres are all in south portland and i cannot get there .so now what.
