1) pretty sure she's not called elphaba in the wizard of oz

2) which version are you doing, 2011 musical (based on movie but with added songs) or RSC (the movie)? Because she doesn't sing in the rsc verison

a good villainy song which isn't strictly for altos, but is do-able.. is forever from Shrek Jr. or Donkey Pot Pie from the broadway show. or Super Boy and the Invisible Girl, if performed right it has a lot of emotion. Dead Girl Walking, or Shine a Light (Reprise)  from Heathers are some other good ones.

Not particularly alto, but I'm sure there are others on this thread with a broader vocal range looking for good angry/villainy songs so Kat Shindle's Mad Hatter in Wonderland the musical is my go-to song because I also play good villainy roles too. The actual audio recording on the cd is auto tuned and horrible, so you should instead try finding the live video from the show on YouTube. This is the link to the live recording https://youtu.be/5_s43MgnlYE it's such a good song for that kind of role. I'm sure that you could always lower the octave on it too if you'd want it to sing it as an alto
