I heard a little bit of a counrty song that I really liked, and have no idea the name of the song or who wrote it... can anyone help me?
It said something about "these are the real heros, and no one speaks their names"
i used to listen to country some ... not so much anymore ... but i don't know words to songs ... sorry!

Was it sung by a woman? I'm not positive, but I think it might be "Ladylike", by Lisa Brokop. I recall those lyrics, or something similar, in there... I'll see if I can find it for you.
I think it was sung by a man (or a very butch woman), but it might not have been sung by the person who wrote it... it was on a comercial.

Ladylike is a very new single, so I doubt it would be on any commercials yet. And I don't think Lisa Brokop sounds like a man, hehe. I don't know what it is, but I do love country music!
Thanks anyway. I was thinking it would be a nice CD to have, since my father is a fire fighter and that line kinda reminded me of the whole un-sung heroes fire fighters stuff
EDIT: by the way, your avatar is going to give me good dreams tonight

I think it's "I Kissed A Girl."
yeah...
Although I did find some funny songs when I googled that
I wouldn't exactly call myself a country fan.. There is only so much I can take at one time, and some of it gets just a bit tooo twangy for me lol. But there are some great country songs and artists. Some country songs have the best lyrics. Anyhow, your song isn't ringing a bell. I tried looking up some of the lyrics you posted, but nothing is coming up. Since you said you heard it on a commercial, are you sure it is most likely an actual song? And by that I mean, that it isn't a song or little ditty written specifically for the commercial and therefore wouldn't exist on cd?? Hope you figure it out :)
Vid of me singing "Wishing You Were Somehow..." POTO
"Hard to see the light now. Just don't let it go. Things will come out right now. We can make it so. Someone is on your side... NO ONE is alone!"
I tried to google different variations of the lyric and nothing came up, I'm going to ask my friend Raquell in the morning... I think she listens to alot of cournty.

Let me know when/if you figure it out! It's going to bother me greatly until I know what it is.
(PS: Glad you like the avatar. Sweet dreams.)
