hi! i know auditions are a recuring theme on these boards but i was looking for audition pieces lol. i am a not quite a tenor OR a bass! lol and my voice is dark-ish belty-ish!? (words?!) but my delema is that i want to something out of the box-ish yet still show my voice. (i mean my voice is like rent/tick tick/spring awakening material! lol) so i dont know what to do! ( i was thinking the show 'a man of no importance' but idk.... lol) as you probly know that i need a comedic one and a serious one uptempo and a ballad. help would be VERY apperciated! THANKS!

Do you need just two? An comedic uptempo and serious ballad? If so I would recommend for your tenor/bass/baritonish voice to look at Kiss Me Kate, more specifically Where Is Life That... (I dont recall the actual title), it is a terrific comedic song if you have the right voice for it.
As for ballad, if you could post any more about what type of voice you have or other songs you have sung, it would be much easier to pick something suited to fit your voice.
