this will never be seen again anywhere, will it?
hey, hillary, one finger victory salute!
Oh, come now, Papa, he was just scatching his cheek.
Doesn't EVERYONE scratch their cheek with their midddle finger and pause for applause?
Surely there's no room in the New Politics for schoolyard tactics like making obscene gestures at other candidates.
Only Dick Cheney acts like that.
And George Bush.
And John McCain.
But not Obama.
all three responded, pj, but i can't type any of their responses otherwise the thread will ge deleted.
but i will say thank you for the early b-day present!
*head, meet desk*
VERY presidential
the only way it could have been more presidential would have been if he used it to rub the corner of his eye and smirked directly into the camera while doing so.
I don't get how anyone can think Obama is anything other than a pompous ass! What am I missing that is making America (at least the Dems.) fall in love with this guy? I've read his website, I've heard him debate. Why? I'm sure I'll be attacked for saying this about the mighty Obama, but it's just how I feel.
I'm with you Ohio.
And of course as Ohio goes, so goes the nation!

This campaign is so "Evita"-esque.

"The Blessed Mother?!"
No, can't you read? Lady Bird Johnson.
Oh, okay. Thanks for the clarification!
Obama is like America - flavor of the month. He is Americas Hula Hoop .
By that I mean, he is all flash & no substance. I guarantee you there are many who are for him because of his persona & have no idea what his views are

I love him him because he flipped off Hillary Clinton. Isn't it time someone finally told that bitch off?????

Get ready for President McCain. Barack Hussein Obama has as much chance of winning the general as Ralph Nader.
The crowd started reacting with what he said--though most did react to the perceived gesture. I think it's entirely likely he was smiling because he thought what he SAID had gotten the big reaction.
But, if he did that intentionally, wow. I wouldn't want that person to be my President. Again.

JRB thanks for a breath of realism injected into this silly silly "Scandal." Happily, the "media" has been too busy shrieking about the last "debate" to blow this up into a full-scale frenzy but who knows, we might get a few days of "Fingergate" yet.
they're saving it for the fox debate.
"senator bammy, why did you flip hillary the bird here and then grin about it?"
well, I imagine if obama said he had flipped Hillary off, mccain would lose quite a few votes.
bammy's not getting any gop votes. a primary is one thing. it's fun to mess with the other side. ask pj. but in the general election, once he's been well and truly shown for who and what he is, fuhgeddaboudit. landslide.

I didn't like the movie lyrics.
yeah, real classy. He's too arrogant for my liking.
Who's been consistently wrong and will be tomorrow?
